Ahhh yes the 'Snow Dogs of Snowfest'. Where to begin...here is a little history on where that name came from. Frankenmuth Michigan a very small town of only 5,000 residents and the top tourist town in Michigan with over 3 Million visitors each year from all around the world. This German town is very busy all year round with events each month. From Easter celebrations to Hotair balloons to the Dog bowl. Every January Frankenmuth residents and town workers are getting ready for the first event of the year 'The Snowfest'. Everyone is hoping for a nice cold month so the hundreds of blocks of snow that will be dropped all around downtown won't melt. Professional Ice and Snow carvers from all around the world come to compete in a friendly carving competition. After living in this busy little town for seven years I moved to New Jersey. In 2016 I started my breeding program. After having my first couple litters and finding it hard to home the puppies I came up with a wonderful idea. Most my litters were timed perfectly for the Snowfest in January 2018. After many calls I decided to take my 2 litters of Siberian Husky puppies to the Frankenmuth Snowfest. Now I just needed to make sure I had all the supplies and a banner.....but what should the banner say?
 
Most everyone remembers the movie 'Snow Dogs' the Disney movie from 2002 full of action, adventure, and a bit of comedy. Well that is where I came up with the name 'Snow Dogs of Snowfest'. It just fit perfectly with the snow and the Siberian Huskies.
